April Dig- New start to Relish with support from Doon The Brae Events

Birse Trading Company have granted us permission to finally build the new start to Relish. We are grateful for their continued support to be able to work in their forest, to enhance the trails, and increase the access for all the community. We are aware that the spicy turns from Chutney into Relish have limited access for some so... let's change that. 👌

This dig has the added bonus of support from Doon Tha Brae Events, who use the forest and trails maintained by the ATA, for some of their race series. They have come on board to give a little something back to the trails and volunteers who help look after them, all year round. They will be on site, getting mucky, digging, providing teas, coffees, cakes and a soup lunch to all our volunteers, which is fantastic!!

So... bring yourselves, your friends, family, sturdy footwear, waterproofs and good vibes. We will meet you in the Birse Carpark in Balfour forest for 9.30am. Please park considerately and close together so other can get in.

We will be clearing brash, cutting in a new line, building berms and aim to start and finish the trail in one day- so make sure you eat your porridge and prepare for a good day out on the hill!! All tools will be provided, including gloves and high viz vests.

Tickets are free but you must be signed up in order to attend.
